2nd January 2016
Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: SSE
Wind Stength: F4
Surf / Sea State: smooth rollers
Air Temperature: 10
Sea Temperature: 11.7
Weather: cloud
Max Speed: 24.5 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 15.5 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Some gone to Manor but Swainey said he was returning to Dip so I joined him, Roger, Strawb and later Phil at Dip. Lots of rolling surf, Strawb just about planed out on 5m then planed well further out so rigged 96l/6m.
Sea was great with smooth rollers. I joined Strawb further out where it was windier but sea not so nice so returned inshore where there were endless smooth rollers great to ride and gybe in smooth water between rollers. OK powered on 6m then wind dropped around 1pm. Came back for a short while and had a few more runs. Bit tricky getting going close inshore as river current with wind, and after yesterday learnt to get out beyond groyne.
Over at Golf could gybe in rollers or get close to spit where it was flat. off Dip it was smooth rollers with good space to gybe. Got one decent jump in. Best sea for ages. 5*
After packing up visited Manor where all had gone home. Sea looked messy but less of a shoreline wind shadow with onshore breeze.
